About the Opportunity

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will prospect, qualify, and generate customer leads to assist in Veza’s overall business growth. By partnering with internal stakeholders, you will help CSOs across markets recognize Veza’s impact in their data security and SaaS security. SDRs have the opportunity to grow their careers in Sales and continue contributing to Veza’s team success.

You Will

  • Identify and set meetings that convert to qualified opportunities in the sales pipeline
  • Partner with their AE to determine the strategy for assigned target accounts in the region
  • Collaborate with Marketing to work on Account Based campaigns
  • Have a deep understanding of the current customer business and how Veza can help
  • Meet and exceed minimum KPIs on a daily basis
  • Achieve or exceed the monthly quota of Qualified Opportunities
  • Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives in Target and Prospect Accounts
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings)
  • Travel about 10% of the time for trade shows and SKO/off-sites

You Have

  • Motivation for a career in sales

  • Ability to succeed alongside teammates
  • Proven written and verbal communication
  • Comfort with being able to learn from rejection

Nice to Have

  • Former sales experience
  • Prospecting software experience (Outreach, Zoominfo, Sales Nav, etc)
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools
  • A firm understanding of how to qualify buyer interest and identify target customers

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $75k and $85k OTE for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
