The Role
TripleLift is seeking a Marketplace Quality Lead to direct and expand our Marketplace Quality team. This leadership role involves shaping the strategy, developing robust policies, leading arbitration efforts, and ensuring enforcement to maintain a high-quality ad tech ecosystem. The Lead will analyze complex data, research industry trends, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance the platform’s integrity.
This role requires crafting and implementing policies, designing efficient workflows, and leveraging technology to improve team efficacy. The Lead will collaborate across departments to execute against strategic objectives and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop and execute the overall strategy for Marketplace Quality, aligning with company goals and industry standards. Identify emerging risks and proactively create mitigation plans.
- Policy Generation: Create, update, and enforce clear, comprehensive policies regarding advertising entities and creative standards. Ensure policies are aligned with legal and ethical standards.
- Arbitration: Lead escalation and resolution of complex quality issues, facilitating discussions between internal and external stakeholders. Make informed decisions to resolve disputes fairly and efficiently.
- Enforcement: Oversee the implementation of quality standards, monitoring compliance and addressing violations. Ensure consistency in enforcement and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assess data quality and consistency for advertising entities (e.g., brands, advertisers) and creative (e.g., image, video, copy) on the company’s internal platform; report and resolve issues if and as they arise.
- Manage the Marketplace Quality team, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
- Generate recurring quality review reports for the external creative review team and communicate quality and performance statistics to senior leadership.
- Provide detailed and actionable insights and recommendations on improvements to creative audit automation and manual review processes.
- Review and uphold TripleLift’s inventory standards in the approval process and evaluate new inventory to ensure that it meets TripleLift’s supply standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of AdTech experience with a focus in Marketplace Quality
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in one or more of the following: information technology, business analytics, marketing, other quantitative disciplines.
- Experience in technical support or non-technical roles such as customer success or partner management where quantitative or technical skills were developed and deployed.
- Strong analytical experience with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google productivity tools.
- Experience in or knowledge of the advertising / advertising technology (“ad tech”) industries.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Pivot, SQL).
