Role

TripleLift is seeking a Marketplace Lead to join our Large Customer Success team. The Marketplace Lead’s primary responsibility is to establish and execute a strategy to drive growth of TripleLift’s innovative CTV offering through effectively matchmaking deals between our Supply and Demand partners. Sitting at the intersection of our Supply and Demand organizations, close collaboration with a variety of teams across Business Development, Sales, Client Services, Operations, Product, and Product Marketing will be vital to the success of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the portfolio and transactional supply and demand dynamics of TripleLift’s exchange (who is buying what?, how?, for how much?, when?, etc.)
  • Define and execute a cross-functional multi-year Deals Marketplace growth strategy to ensure continued growth of marketplaces transactions through the efficient matching of supply/demand
  • Maintain the rate card of Marketplace standard Media Products - including pricing and avails guidance, allowable targeting, included publishers, etc. - and partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure Media Products are made available to the demand organization with the appropriate collateral, sales story, etc.
  • Operate a Deals Desk that receives, evaluates, and executes (when possible) Demand team requests for modifications to standard media products (i.e. pricing, site lists, etc.), requests for non-standard media products, and general questions about inventory availability
  • Partner with the Demand team to deeply understand the demand landscape and sales pipeline (i.e. who is buying what?, how?, for how much?, when?, etc.) for the purpose of providing the optimal media products and ensuring the right supply is available both today and in the future
  • Partner with the Supply team to understand the supply landscape (i.e. what inventory is under/over sold, publisher pricing, etc.), to provide direction to the supply team about what inventory is most needed by the Marketplace today and in the future, and to represent Marketplace demand to suppliers when required
  • Responsible for identifying any areas of Marketplace friction (aka anything that is blocking transactions) and coordinate cross-functional to ensure resolution
  • Partner with Services to maintain transactional RACIs to ensure pitch-to-pay efficiency of the Deal Marketplace
  • Provide reporting and analysis on Marketplace spend, revenue, and other metrics for TripleLift commercial leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in digital, programmatic media, or ad tech industry
  • 2+ years of CTV experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop and execute on strategic plans and revenue goals
  • Deep knowledge of the CTV landscape, monetization, and market trends.
  • Experience in programmatic &/or CTV media planning and pricing
  • Strong technical understanding of programmatic and a proven track record of successfully leading complex work-streams with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep expertise in omnichannel programmatic monetization, ad serving, header bidding, SSP technologies, and evolving market trends.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with experience using data and reporting tools to drive effective decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Services, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Self-starter mentality, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

US Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
