The VP, Publisher Development US is a pivotal role owning and driving the strategy of Triplelift's Publisher Development team. As a people manager, you will set the strategic vision to acquire and grow publisher accounts across the Americas, focusing on Display, Mobile, Video, Retail and Social channels. Your remit will include managing a team of 1-2 sellers and overseeing their success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and establish long-term partnerships with top-tier digital media companies, broadcasters, and publishers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance multi-channel, video, mobile app, and Enterprise publisher acquisitions.
  • Account Acquisition: Orchestrate account acquisition initiatives across the Americas, including creating and executing detailed sales plans.
  • Business Strategy Formulation: Formulate national business strategies, including account lists, assignments, and revenue targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance and adapt strategies as necessary to ensure your team's revenue goals are met.
  • Vertical Sales Expansion: Expand vertical sales opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Enterprise Negotiations: Lead acquisition and negotiation efforts for large-scale media companies prospects.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strategic customer relationships to uncover new value opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to design and participate in impactful programs.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct regular team meetings with a focus on pipeline review and strategy alignment.
  • Customer Onboarding: Collaborate with Publisher Client Services teams to streamline customer onboarding and ramp-up processes.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry events to boost sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Communication: Utilize exceptional communication skills to inspire team members and foster strong external relationships.
  • Management: Oversee a small but capable team of publisher development managers and ensure they hit and exceed targets.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in publisher development sales, with at least 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Established senior-level relations with Display, Mobile, and Video publishers.
  • Demonstrated ability to use insights to develop a strategic direction for Triplelift's publisher development team.
  • Proven expertise in business development related to emerging media technologies.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with a flair for creative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to represent the company in external engagements and industry events.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • In-depth knowledge of the programmatic Online Advertising Industry with publisher relationships across Display, Mobile, and Video.
  • Strong passion for technology and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emphasizing teamwork, initiative, and integrity.
  • High-energy individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.

US Jobs: The below range represents the potential on target earnings for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance. This range includes both base and potential variable compensation and is not guaranteed.

The range listed is just one component of TripleLift’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
