As the Global SVP of Business Development at TripleLift, you will be a key direct of the CRO and will be responsible for driving the company's growth through key partnerships. This role is at the intersection of Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), Connected TV (CTV), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and Clean Rooms, with a strong emphasis on Retail Media and Search Ads platforms. TripleLift has unique Creative, Data and Monetization assets that will evolve in these segments. You will lead a team of ~5 high-performing individual contributors across the US, EU, and APAC regions to establish strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and shape the future of our AdTech offerings in the retail and search advertising sectors.

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global business development strategy that focuses on expanding our presence in the Retail Media and Search Ads space while leveraging TripleLift current and future assets around our SSP, Creative Tech, CTV, Data / DMP / clean room technologies.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within key segments: ignite, drive and close deals. Manage post-deal monitoring (enablement).
  • Lead the efforts to establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Retail Media and Search Ads domains, including retailers, advertisers/agencies, search platforms, and technology partners.
  • Be close to Retail Media Agencies on their top current and future needs.
  • Oversee the management of existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.

Team Management and Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of individual contributors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their goals and meet performance targets.
  • Foster effective collaboration between team members across the US, EU, and APAC regions to ensure consistent and successful execution of business development strategies in the retail and search advertising sectors.
  • Work closely with regional teams to address specific market needs and tailor offerings accordingly.

Market Expertise:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem, with a specific focus on Retail Media and Search Ads platforms, as well as the broader DSP, SSP, CTV, DMP, CDP, and clean room landscape.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Revenue Growth and KPIs:

  • Set ambitious revenue targets for Retail Media and Search Ads platforms and oversee efforts to achieve or exceed them.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of business development initiatives in these key areas.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to the executive leadership team (ELT), highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in the Retail Media and Search Ads domains.
  • Participate in strategic reviews to shape the company's overall business direction and future growth plans.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful business development and revenue growth in the AdTech industry, with a specific emphasis on Retail Media and Search Ads platforms and expertise in DSP, SSP, CTV, DMP, CDP, and clean room technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams across different regions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of the AdTech landscape, industry trends, and regulatory considerations, particularly in the context of Retail Media and Search Ads.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrable strong work ethic

  • 10+ years of experience leading a Business Development or Enterprise Sales team, with strong examples in igniting, negotiating and closing deals


US Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
