About the role

We are seeking a Scheduler to join our team and play a critical role in driving the execution of complex nuclear projects across engineering, licensing, manufacturing, and construction. In this role, you will develop, manage, and optimize detailed project schedules within our Project Management Office (PMO), preparing schedule data for proposals and contract negotiations, performing schedule integrations, building work logic, and identifying constraints and potential impacts. Partnering closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will develop recovery plans, evaluate subcontractor schedules, and provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and forecasted outcomes to ensure projects stay on track and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Integration & Development: Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools. Perform integration of individual schedules into the total project plan, including work logic, task dependencies, and resource loading.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning & testing, regulatory, and project controls teams to collect inputs, define task dependencies, and maintain open communications in support of schedule maintenance and reporting.
  • Contractor & Subcontractor Schedule Oversight: Provide oversight of planning and scheduling activities of contractors and technology providers. Evaluate subcontractor schedules for required workarounds or potential schedule improvements.
  • Risk Identification & Recovery Planning: Identify schedule constraints and activities with critical or potential impact on the schedule. Analyze schedule performance, proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, recommend mitigation strategies, and develop recovery plans.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor critical paths and milestones, track progress against baseline schedules, and generate reporting dashboards to communicate schedule updates and forecasted outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling, project planning, or project controls, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or regulated industries
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and work breakdown structures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the nuclear energy, power generation, or highly regulated industry
  • Familiarity with earned value management, risk analysis, and cost-schedule integration
  • PMP or PMI-SP certification a plus
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment

Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $121,000 - $143,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
