  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between engineering, quality, supply chain, and project management teams to align design intent with vendor capabilities and delivery schedules.
  • Technical Documentation & Review: Ensure all technical procurement documents (e.g., datasheets, specifications, ITPs, QA requirements) meet internal standards and industry regulations (e.g., ASME, NRC, IEEE).
  • Supplier Interface & Oversight: Support vendor selection, design reviews, and technical clarification processes, including non-conformance resolution and design change management.
  • Process & Risk Management: Improve procurement engineering processes to reduce rework, enhance traceability, and ensure nuclear-grade quality and documentation compliance.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or Systems Engineering required; Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus
  • 7–10+ years of experience in procurement engineering, systems engineering, or technical supply chain roles in nuclear, energy, aerospace, or heavy industry
  • Deep understanding of technical procurement, including equipment specifications, vendor qualification, and design documentation
  • Experience working within regulated environments, particularly those governed by NRC, ASME NQA-1, or other nuclear/defense standards
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional coordination between engineering, QA, and supply chain teams
  • Strong technical writing, vendor management, and organizational skills

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation packages
  • 401k with company match
  • Medical, dental, vision plans
  • Generous vacation policy, plus holidays
  • Annual company retreats

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
