We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to add to our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate the CNC machine daily, including fixturing, running programs, and maintenance.
  • Use CAD/CAM software to program 3-axis milling machines to machine complex metallicstructures and components. 4th and 5th Axis experience are a bonus.
  • Design complex fixturing.
  • Select tooling and maintain the tool library.
  • Support the Applications Team (R&D) with DFM (design for manufacturing).
  • Assist with the procurement of additional milling/manufacturing equipment.
  • Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment (bandsaw, furnace, media blast, etc.) while maintaining the shop in a clean and organized condition.

Qualifications:
Required

  • 10+ years of combined experience operating and programming CNC machinery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Travel up to 10%.

Preferred

  • Associate degree or above in engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel-based alloys, etc.)
  • Experience with Autodesk Fusion/Solidworks CAM
  • Experience in machining metal additive-manufactured parts
  • Experience with Haas Equipment
  • Experience of working in commercial metal AM manufacturing facilities (service bureaus,
    manufacturing divisions, laboratories, etc.) is strongly preferred.
