About Seurat
Seurat is transforming manufacturing for people and our planet by delivering a scalable additive manufacturing solution to fundamentally change how products are made. Seurat’s proprietary Area Printing process, developed at Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL), allows metal components to be manufactured at price points and quality levels that compete directly with conventional manufacturing techniques, enabling the reshoring of supply chains and promoting the decarbonization of industry. Seurat has raised over $180M and is backed by leading venture partners like Capricorn, NVentures (NVIDIA), True Ventures, General Motors Ventures, Denso, Porsche SE, SIP global partners, Honda, Xerox Ventures/Myriad Venture Partners, Cubit Capital, Siemens Energy, and Maniv Mobility.
We are currently seeking a talented, self-motivated Electro-Optical Engineer to add to our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates hands-on experience in the assembly of electro-optical and electronic devices. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team of world-class engineers, scientists, and technicians.
Position Overview:
The Electro-Optical (EO) Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the development of our revolutionary electro-optical patterning devices. You will use your background in electro-optics, liquid crystal, chemistry, or optics to support the design and transition to production of liquid crystal based electro-optical devices. The ideal candidate combines theoretical background in physics and optics, relevant hands-on electrical and optical devices testing experience, a data driven approach to problem solving, and a focus on continuous improvement.
