Prellis Biologics uses proprietary technology to 3D print lymph node organoids, which we are using to generate in vitro antibody libraries and in vitro human lymphnode co-cultures for generating antigen-specific B-cells. We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our in vitro Functional Characterization team. This role will be responsible for executing biochemical and cell-based assays to support the externalized immune system (EXIS) workflows. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular pharmacology and cell biology techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform low and medium throughput assay techniques, including but not limited to, use of Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) platforms, ELISA platforms, various other microplate reader technology from Perkin Elmer or Agilent.
  • Develop a robust workflow for activity assessment of potential New Chemical Entities – implement techniques for single point testing and IC50/EC50 determination in a 96-well format and potentially a 384-well format.
  • Skill in maintenance of various cells lines used for assay development – HEK293, CHO, etc.
  • Knowledge and use of liquid handling platforms a plus.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to develop new assays.Troubleshoot issues as needed.
