Job Description:

We are looking for a senior-level Technical Program Manager (IC) to drive execution of our most complex and cross-functional initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a builder’s mindset—someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to chaos, and inspires alignment without formal authority. You’ll work across engineering, product, compliance, operations, and customer-facing teams to ensure delivery of high-impact programs that advance our platform and business goals.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who can operate at a senior level—balancing strategic vision, cross-functional coordination, technical fluency, and day-to-day delivery excellence.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Technical Program Management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs from inception to launch across engineering,
  • product, compliance, and business teams.
  • Drive change management efforts and enablement efforts to ensure teams are not just informed, but fully aligned and empowered – driving adoption of new processes, tools, and programs through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic influence.
  • Act as a force multiplier—identifying friction points, aligning stakeholders, and establishing repeatable frameworks to improve execution and delivery velocity.
  • Apply agile and scrum methodologies effectively—tailoring practices to fit the program context and driving team accountability.
  • System-level thinking – understand the architectural impact of cross-team work and can navigate technical tradeoffs with engineering and product partners.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, roadmaps, and status updates to keep stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Partner with engineering leadership and product teams to translate business needs into executable plans that balance scope, speed, and quality.
  • Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and escalate critical issues with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Influence decision-making and drive alignment across senior stakeholders—without relying on formal authority.
  • Contribute to the evolution of TPM best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex technical programs, ideally in a high-growth or regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional programs with many moving parts—on time and with measurable impact.
  • Hands-on experience administering or configuring Jira and other Agile tooling for scaling teams.
  • Strong change management experience—able to guide teams through ambiguity and align around shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in technical conversations - able to engage in technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and help scope solutions in partnership with engineering and product.
  • Deep understanding of agile, scrum, and lean methodologies; comfortable coaching teams and adapting practices as needed.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—especially with senior engineering, product, and business leaders.
  • Comfortable operating independently, managing ambiguity, and taking ownership at both strategic and tactical levels.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated industries
  • Experience supporting or leading delivery of customer-facing AI products with exposure to go-to-market considerations, user experience, and measuring business impact
  • Exposure to driving the development and adoption of internal AI tools including change management, stakeholder alignment, and integrating AI into workflows.
  • General understanding of AI concepts, including how modern AI systems work, how they’re built and evaluated, how data affects them, and how to use them responsibly
