About The Role
Parry Labs is seeking an RF engineer to support the design, test, and repair of ground-based electronic warfare systems for counter-RCIED (Radio-controlled Improvised Explosive Devices) applications.
As a member of our team, you will work on ground-based systems designed to enact countermeasures upon RCIED threats. You will develop new and test new countermeasures systems and support product improvement of RF systems already in production. You will be joining a dedicated team of engineers who work with Government and Industry. We are passionate about providing advanced RF systems to protect our U.S. military customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the design, test, and repair of ground-based electronic warfare (EW) systems for counter-RCIED (Radio-controlled Improvised Explosive Devices) applications.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of systems in production.
- Work with RF design team, Government and Industry partners in the development of next generation EW systems.
- Conduct trade studies to analyze and compare EW system concepts and technology alternatives in terms of effectiveness, cost, and risk.
- Provide technical expertise to Government stakeholders during laboratory and field-testing events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline with 10+ years of experience.
- Relevant experience in RF design, testing, signal processing, analysis and development of RF subsystems.
- Experience working with RF test and measurement equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and clients.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if needed upon scope of work (US Citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience with design, testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of RF electronic warfare systems during various stages of development, from concept development to operational deployment.
- In-depth understanding of RF test and design, propagation, antenna design, common communication protocols, electronic attack techniques, and military operations and deployment of ground based electronic warfare systems.
- RF circuit design.
- RF modeling and simulation experience.
