About the Job

The Solutions Architect & Integrator plays a pivotal role in pursuit and capture activity by rapidly conceptualizing the overall technical vision for a proposed solution, supporting rapid prototyping & demonstrations, and ensuring the solution aligns with the business goals and requirements.

This position requires hands-on work in lab environments, tradeshows, and customer sites, ensuring the seamless operation of hardware and software. You will apply strong expertise in tactical vehicle embedded systems (airborne, ground, surface, and subsurface), distributed computing architectures, Linux networking, and container technologies, with a particular focus on optimizing and securing network communications, as well as contributing to the design of robust, redundant network architectures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design approach activities and support staffing and cost estimation efforts.
• Emphasizing key technical features and win themes in the form of technical narratives and demonstrations.
• Develop and execute complex multi-vendor technology demonstrations and exercises with emphasis on strategic capture goal alignment.
• Interpret/generate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system documentation to accurately configure and manage complex system functions in networked environments.
• Collaborating closely with Systems and Software Engineering teams, the engineer will assist in architecting and developing designs that incorporate multiple redundancies, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Configuring and managing virtualized environments using tools like KVM, VMware, and Docker, and handling advanced Cisco router configurations, including routing protocols, multicast routing, SD-WAN configurations, and host-based firewalls.
• Optimizing network performance for live video streams, VOIP communications, and other real-time data exchanges.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with existing systems and workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and iptables, and a deep understanding of the OSI model.
• Assist senior engineers in developing and implementing network designs, contributing to the creation of detailed network documentation and ensuring that all configurations support the overall system architecture.
• Documenting system designs and implementations with meticulous attention to detail is essential.
• Other duties as assigned.
