Position Summary:
The Global Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing business development and cross-functional projects. The Project Manager applies their broad understanding of specific functional areas to plan, coordinate, and implement Business Development, Field Science and Regulatory projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. As an internal subject matter expert, you will be expected to solve a wide range of issues related to project management and provide guidance to dependent work streams. This role also involves stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and fostering a collaborative project environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans to support opportunity assessments and investment decision processes
- Coordinate the execution of market analyses, field trials, and business development activities to align with the team’s strategic priorities
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the communication hub between team members, leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and progress
- Provide consistent updates on the status of strategic partnerships, regulatory compliance efforts, and field trial outcomes
Resource Allocation
- Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure efficient execution of field trials, business development, and regulatory tasks
- Identify gaps in resources and propose solutions to maintain momentum on team objectives
Risk Management
- Identify risks related to field trials, regulatory compliance, or partnership development, and create mitigation plans
- Monitor potential changes in regulatory environments or market conditions and work with the team to adapt strategies
Scheduling and Milestone Tracking
- Establish timelines for the team’s activities, such as field trials, partnership development, and compliance reporting
- Track progress against key milestones, such as product registrations, trial completions, or partnership agreements
Data Integration and Reporting
- Ensure that the outcomes of field trials, market assessments, and compliance activities are consolidated into actionable reports
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of detailed reports on team activities to support Oath’s investment decisions
Collaboration with Partners
- Coordinate efforts with go-to-market partners and trialing partners as per the business expansion plan
- Ensure timely execution of collaborative activities and maintain strong relationships with external entities
Supporting Scientific and Technical Efforts
- Organize and support the design and implementation of field trials, working closely with the team to ensure alignment with scientific objectives
- Assist in compiling and disseminating technical materials and training resources for partners and clients
Compliance Oversight Support
- Work with the team to document and track regulatory compliance efforts, including the preparation of field release and commercialization permits
- Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities and assist in addressing regulatory changes
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline team processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve overall project execution
- Integrate feedback from team members and external partners into future planning and coordination

- Strong analytical skills to identify challenges and develop effective solutions
- Ability to make timely, data-driven decisions under pressure while considering potential risks
Qualifications:
- Min. 5, ideally 7+ years of cross-functional project management experience, preferably in a life science> field
- Bachelor or Master in business administration, management, or a relevant field of life sciences
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification a major plus
Location: Home based/remote in Germany (or USA)
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt position based in Germany or the United States. At this time, Oath, Inc. is not able to provide visa sponsorship or work authorization support.
Compensation:
€80-100k if based in DE, $135-170K if based in US
