Fellowship Overview:
Paid position with competitive hourly compensation
15+ hours/week minimum during the school year - flexible scheduling around academic commitments
40 hours/week during the summer
2 quarter minimum - potential to convert to full-time
In-person at our Palo Alto office on University Ave
Direct mentorship from our founding team (ex-Meta, Stanford/Yale alumni)
Hands-on experience deploying AI solutions for major consumer brands
What Fellows Actually Do:
Deploy AI Workflows: Build and optimize AI-powered automations for enterprise brand clients using LLMs and our proprietary platform
Drive Client Success: Analyze performance data and provide strategic recommendations to improve campaign outcomes
Partner with Brands: Work directly with marketing teams from category-defining brands to identify AI implementation opportunities
Own Social Media Marketing: Help develop and execute Nectar's own social media marketing strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X) — drafting content, building campaigns, engaging with our community, and analyzing performance to grow brand awareness and pipeline
Build Playbooks: Document best practices and contribute to the development of repeatable strategies
Support Onboarding: Help new brands get up and running on our platform, ensuring they achieve >85% AI-assisted responses within 30 days
Shape Product Strategy: Provide feedback from the field to influence our product roadmap
An Ideal Candidate:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (rising seniors preferred)
Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client workflows
Daily experience with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and enthusiasm for deploying AI workflows
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills to interface directly with client teams
Active on social platforms with a pulse on consumer brand trends and content that resonates with Gen Z/Millennial audiences
Self-starter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
Interest in consumer brands, marketing, and social commerce
Able to work in-person at our Palo Alto office
