Principal Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help the global Product Marketing team to drive customer and revenue growth and reinforce our leadership position in the market through compelling value-driven assets and campaigns. In this role, you will own the full product marketing lifecycle for ThoughtSpot’s flagship analytics agent.
This role is ideal for a product marketer who wants to go deep on a single, high-impact product. You'll combine strong strategic instincts with hands-on execution, from joining customer calls to leading cross-functional launches.
Your key performance indicators will include improving product line ARR, boosting product activation and adoption (NRR), increasing competitive win rates, and driving expansion plays. This role requires building strong cross-functional relationships with teams including product management, sales, sales engineering, and the broader marketing team to create long-term value for our customers and the business.
What You’ll Do:
Product Positioning & Narrative
Define and own the positioning and messaging for our agentic capabilities, including our flagship analytics agent.
Own the competitive differentiation story to ensure our agent stands out in a crowded and fast-moving market
Translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions for data leaders, AI leaders, and business leaders
Craft the Why Now story that connects market trends in agentic AI to customer outcomes
Go-to-Market Strategy & Launches
Own the full GTM plan for major releases, coordinating across brand, social, DG, PR, and sales
Drive cross-functional coordination across product, demand gen, and comms to drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption
Align messaging and campaign strategy across field, customer marketing, and partner marketing teams
Content & Thought Leadership
Drive the content strategy for Agents track, including solution briefs, blogs, landing pages, webinars, and videos
Partner with technical teams to craft compelling demos that showcase the product in action
Partner with customer marketing on case studies and user stories that bring the product narrative to life
Sales Enablement & Competitive Intelligence
Equip the sales team with enablement materials and training that clearly convey the product's differentiated value
Work with Competitive Intelligence teams on battlecards, discovery guides, and talk tracks to support competitive positioning
Serve as the voice of the customer for field teams and help refine messaging based on direct feedback
Customer & Market Insight
Conduct win/loss analysis, join customer and prospect calls, and synthesize feedback to inform product and marketing strategy
Partner with product and customer success to drive activation, usage, and expansion within the existing base
Product Partnership
Provide strategic input to product teams on roadmap priorities, customer needs, and competitive insights
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX, and engineering to bring user empathy into the product experience
What you bring:
6-8 years in product marketing or solution marketing in B2B SaaS. Analytics or data platform experience is a plus but not required.
Proven track record of owning positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launches for a product area
Experienced at building strong working relationships with product, sales, and engineering teams and influencing without authority
Comfortable tying marketing efforts back to business outcomes — pipeline, adoption, competitive win rates, and expansion
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success in content creation across formats — video scripts, long-form assets, social copy, web pages.
Background or experience with platforms like ThoughtSpot, Looker, Power BI, Notion, or Airtable
Understanding of internal and external analytics, mobile BI, or enterprise integrations
Familiarity with the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Monte Carlo, Fivetran)
Prior experience in a high-growth environment or working on multi-product platforms

Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
Hands-on experience to leverage AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve work quality.
Speak to the experience of using AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
Write effective prompts to get the most accurate and creative results from AI tools.

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in India - Bangalore.Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week.
