At ThoughtSpot, the Platform organization forms the foundation that powers our modern analytics experience. The platform track is responsible for the overall quality, reliability, security, and scalability of the product. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager – Platform to lead the next evolution of our deployment, security, and platform capabilities across cloud infrastructures.

In this role, you will define and execute the platform vision that enables seamless, secure, and reliable deployments for customers across public and private cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with customers, engineering, and other product managers to ensure the product is built with operational excellence and is in alignment with customer deployment needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end deployment experience across cloud infrastructures—covering public, private, and hybrid environments.

  • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure the product meets the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance.

  • Collaborate with other product managers to enable secure and easy administration of the product.

  • Work with enterprise customers and field teams to understand deployment and compliance requirements and translate them into product capabilities.

  • Drive prioritization, scope, and execution of platform initiatives while balancing innovation and operational excellence.

  • Define success metrics, monitor platform health, and continuously improve reliability and uptime.

  • Represent the platform vision internally and externally, building consensus across engineering, design, and GTM stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure, platform, or DevOps products.

  • Proven experience managing enterprise-scale SaaS or hybrid deployment platforms.

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud or on-prem deployments.

  • Demonstrated expertise in security, observability, and platform reliability engineering.

  • Experience collaborating with customers on deployment, compliance, and operational requirements.

  • Analytical and data-driven approach to prioritization and problem-solving.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams.

  • Engineering background or equivalent technical understanding preferred.

In California, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $142k – $230k per year.

Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location of the selected candidate.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits.
