About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Growth Strategist to lead our AI Search strategy—owning both the vision and execution for LLM optimization and AI Overviews.

This senior IC role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll be our in-house expert on the rapidly evolving world of AI in search—tracking the latest trends, testing new approaches, and driving measurable results.

The landscape of organic search is shifting faster than ever, and you’ll be at the forefront—constantly reading, learning, experimenting, and adapting. You’ll partner with product marketing, content, web, and demand gen teams to identify the biggest opportunities, run experiments, and scale what works. What You’ll Do:

1. Lead AI Organic Discovery

  • Own the strategy for how people discover and engage with ThoughtSpot through AI-driven organic channels.

  • Stay ahead of the curve as search undergoes a fundamental transformation—bringing the latest research, trends, and innovations in LLM optimization into our playbook.

  • Drive visibility in AI Overviews and LLM citations, ensuring ThoughtSpot is referenced where buyers are searching and learning.

  • Meet our audience where they are—forums, review sites, communities—to build awareness, educate potential users, and capture high-quality traffic.

  • Take full ownership of the organic growth number, blending deep expertise in SEO fundamentals with emerging AI search opportunities.

2. Data-Driven Analytics & Innovation

  • Build dashboards and reporting to track performance of AI/SEO initiatives and growth experiments.

  • Translate complex data and insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders and executives.

  • Stay at the forefront of algorithm updates, AI search innovations, and growth marketing trends.

  • Continuously bring fresh ideas, tools, and tests to keep our strategy innovative and competitive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years in digital strategy or growth marketing — ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill complex strategies into compelling slide decks and present to C-level executives.

  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth from multi-channel strategies.

  • Strong understanding of technical fundamentals (crawl optimization, structured data, Core Web Vitals)

  • SEO content know-how (we have a separate content team who will own SEO content production, but you will drive the strategy)

  • Analytical mindset with advanced experience in tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, HubSpot, or similar.

  • Comfort collaborating across marketing, product, and engineering teams to move initiatives forward.

  • Strategic thinker who can also execute — able to deliver results without a large team.
