As a Customer Success Engineer (CSE) at ThoughtSpot, you will be a trusted technical partner to our customers, helping them achieve impactful business outcomes through the effective use of the ThoughtSpot platform. Your role will involve driving product adoption, guiding solution architecture, and providing strategic support throughout the customer journey. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role ideal for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a strategic technical advisor to both internal and customer teams, driving adoption and success with ThoughtSpot.
Understand customer business goals and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performance ThoughtSpot solutions.
Lead technical enablement sessions and guide customers on best practices in data modeling, integration, and solution design.
Create and maintain ThoughtSpot artifacts such as worksheets, pinboards, and searches to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with Customer Center of Excellence, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation and support.
Troubleshoot issues, coordinate resolution of product bugs, and escalate critical needs as appropriate.
Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders to promote long-term engagement and loyalty.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services.
Deep understanding of BI/Analytics platforms and the modern data stack.
Proficiency in data tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.
Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional modeling, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data integration tools (Fivetran, Talend, Matillion).
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
