Our Engagement Managers (EMs) drive successful implementation services and customer satisfaction within a portfolio of accounts. The EM is in charge of successfully launching a ThoughtSpot solution by managing all aspects of project delivery, including timely deliverables. The goal of the EM is to ensure that the value outlined in the purchase process is achieved, documented, and communicated throughout the engagement. Additionally, EMs are responsible for understanding a client's desired goals, current state, and business objectives while working with TS architects to craft a solution that meets the client's needs. The EM will work cross-functionally with our Customer Success, Sales, Pre-Sales Engineers, Support, Product Management and Engineering to accomplish their responsibilities. Additionally, the EM is the customer advisor and project manager for ThoughtSpot implementations and service deployments providing best practices and coordinating ThoughtSpot resources.
What You'll Do:
Be the advisor and first point of contact throughout ThoughtSpot deployments to ensure the customer gets to business value as quickly as possible.
Manage overall project lifecycle, including project schedule deliverables, timelines, and aligned outcomes.
Build relationships and champions with the customer, manage key stakeholders, and drive escalations internally and with the customer.
Internally coordinate between sales, engineering, product, leadership, and support to identify and resolve customer issues.
Help build best practices resources for delivering Thoughtspot and share them amongst TS team members and customers.
Onboard and train customers and end-users on how to use ThoughtSpot
Coach the customer on what works best to make ThoughtSpot sticky, drive adoption, and maximize ROI
Look out for the customer's best interests and advocate internally for their needs.
Assist with identifying and facilitating follow-on opportunities for growth within customer account
What You Bring:
Project Management and consulting experience
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker or similar
Extensive customer-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
Ability to define and drive tactical implementation and management of a project
Ambitious and self-motivated with a high degree of technical curiosity
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Adept at influencing others to work with you on behalf of the customer.
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate progress against milestones clearly in a constantly
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Able to travel as needed
