Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (Enterprise) to drive outbound pipeline generation for Manifest AI — our agentic AI shopping assistant for eCommerce brands. You will own top-of-funnel growth for enterprise accounts, engaging senior digital, eCommerce, and CX leaders at large online retail and DTC brands across global markets.
This role requires strong research, personalization, and strategic outreach skills — and the ability to articulate the value of AI-led shopping experiences (conversion uplift, support automation, personalized product discovery) to sophisticated enterprise buyers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and own a high-quality enterprise pipeline for Manifest AI through outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and target enterprise-level eCommerce, retail, and DTC brands (Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom-stack merchants) across the US, MENA, and India.
  • Conduct deep research on target brands — traffic scale, tech stack, conversion challenges, support volumes, and existing AI/personalization tools — before outreach.
  • Engage decision-makers (Heads of eCommerce, Digital, Growth, CX, and Founders) via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach with sharp, use-case-led messaging.
  • Communicate Manifest AI's value proposition clearly: AI-powered product discovery, conversational commerce, pre- and post-purchase support automation, and conversion optimization.
  • Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT / MEDDIC or equivalent.
  • Run discovery-oriented first conversations and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives (AEs) to drive deal progression.
  • Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in CRM tools.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound leads with equal ownership.
  • Consistently meet or exceed pipeline generation targets.
  • Share market and prospect feedback with product and marketing teams to sharpen positioning.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in BDR/SDR roles, preferably in SaaS or enterprise sales.
  • Proven experience in enterprise outbound prospecting and multi-threaded account engagement.
  • Strong ability to research, personalize, and craft high-conversion messaging.
  • Ability to understand and explain AI/GenAI products in simple, business-outcome terms (conversion, AOV, CSAT, support cost reduction).
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with tools like Apollo, Lusha, HubSpot, Outplay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • High ownership, resilience, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to Have
  • Experience selling to enterprise eCommerce, retail, or DTC brands.
  • Familiarity with the eCommerce ecosystem — Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, CX/helpdesk tools, and personalization or search platforms.
  • Understanding of AI, conversational commerce, marketing automation, or SaaS products.
  • Exposure to global markets (US / MENA / India enterprise).
