Job Overview
We are seeking a Solution Engineer (US Market) to partner closely with our Sales, Marketing and Product teams in driving high-quality deal conversions through strong solutioning, demos, and technical consultation.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and customer workflows, requiring a strong understanding of how e-commerce businesses operate and how our product fits into their ecosystem.
As a key member of the revenue team, you will be responsible for understanding customer use cases, delivering tailored demos, designing workflows, and handling technical objections to build confidence during the buying journey.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where your ability to simplify complexity, structure solutions, and communicate clearly will directly influence revenue outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Solution Engineering / Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering in a B2B SaaS company
- Strong understanding of e-commerce / D2C ecosystem (Shopify preferred)
- Ability to translate business problems into product-driven solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills (experience with US customers preferred)
- Comfortable working in US timings
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for execution
Key Responsibility Areas
As we scale rapidly, the Solution Engineering function plays a critical role in improving demo quality, deal conversion, and customer confidence.
1. Discovery & Solution Mapping
- Participate in qualified sales conversations to understand:
- Customer workflows
- Existing tools and integrations
- Key business problems and revenue gaps
- Translate requirements into structured solution approaches
- Identify the most relevant use cases to position during demos
2. Demo & Use-Case Led Selling
- Deliver high-quality, tailored product demos aligned to customer use cases
- Move beyond feature walkthroughs → focus on “how it works for them”
- Continuously improve demo narratives based on conversion insights
3. Solution Design & Workflow Structuring
- Design workflows across:
- Automation journeys
- Campaign use cases
- Integrations (Shopify, CRM, APIs)
- Recommend best practices based on:
- Industry patterns
- Customer maturity
4. Webinar & Event Execution
- Partner with Marketing to:
- Conduct product webinars for US audiences
- Deliver live demos in events and virtual sessions
- Contribute to:
- Webinar storytelling
- Demo flows
- Use-case positioning
5. Deal Acceleration & Objection Handling
- Handle technical and workflow-related objections:
- Integrations
- Feasibility
- Scalability
- Support Sales in:
- Improving conversion rates
- Reducing sales cycle time
6. POCs & Technical Validation
- Support POCs / pilot setups for high-value accounts
- Ensure clarity on:
- Expected outcomes
- Implementation feasibility
7. Sales & CSM Enablement
- Work with Sales and CSM teams to:
- Improve product understanding
- Standardize demo quality
- Strengthen objection handling
- Contribute to:
- Demo scripts
- Use-case playbooks
- Training sessions (as needed)
8. Customer & Market Feedback
- Capture insights from customer interactions:
- Feature gaps
- Common objections
- Use-case trends
- Share structured feedback with:
- Product team → for roadmap inputs
- Marketing → for sharper positioning
