Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to drive the future of AI-powered shopping experiences.

In this role, you'll create intuitive, innovative interfaces that seamlessly blend AI capabilities with human-centered design principles. This is a high-visibility role with growth potential toward Design Lead and eventual Design Head position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for Manifest's AI shopping assistant, ensuring seamless integration with various e-commerce platforms
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that showcase innovative AI-human interaction patterns
• Develop user flows that maximize the effectiveness of LLM technology while maintaining intuitive customer journeys
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to ensure technical feasibility while advocating for optimal user experiences
• Establish and maintain design systems that can scale across multiple brand implementations
• Mentor junior designers and help shape the future design culture of the organization
• Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders, including client brands

Requirements

• 4+ years of UX design experience, focused on digital products
• Proven experience designing for conversational interfaces, AI-powered products, or recommendation systems
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, problem-solving, and execution
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of e-commerce user journeys and conversion optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for enterprise B2B products or tools used by multiple business clients
• Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, or conversational design principles
• Background in e-commerce, retail technology, or customer experience optimization
• Experience leading design initiatives or mentoring junior team members
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
