Senior Product Consultant

ABOUT US:

Kurtosys provides asset and wealth managers with a data and content publication platform that enables the construction and distribution of critical, marketing, and client reporting materials. We operate globally and specialise in delivering scalable, data-driven reporting solutions in highly regulated environments.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Senior Product Consultant who combines strong business analysis capability, client consulting skills, and hands-on technical experience with data and integrations. This role sits at the intersection of client consulting, requirements analysis, solution design, data transformation, and technical implementation

You will work closely with global clients and internal teams to translate business needs into high-quality, data-driven reporting solutions, while actively contributing to the technical delivery.

This is not a purely functional BA role — you are expected to be hands-on with data, systems, and implementation, while confidently engaging with clients and managing scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Consulting & Engagement

• Lead client interactions across the delivery lifecycle, building strong, trusted relationships
• Run workshops and working sessions to understand business needs and data requirements
• Manage scope, expectations, and priorities — confidently guiding clients toward practical solutions
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

• Translate business requirements into clear, structured, and actionable specifications
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs
• Challenge and refine requirements to ensure feasibility, clarity, and alignment to platform capabilities
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation

Data Analysis & Technical Delivery

• Analyse and transform client datasets (CSV, XLSX, JSON, XML) to align with platform requirements
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate, manipulate, and troubleshoot data
• Support data migration, conversion, and integration from legacy systems
• Work with RESTful APIs to integrate and exchange data between systems

Platform Configuration & Implementation

• Configure data structures, templates, and reporting outputs within the Kurtosys platform
• Support the setup and delivery of client-facing reporting solutions and dashboards
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities across environments
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of configurations and outputs

Delivery & Collaboration

• Take ownership of tasks within project delivery, managing timelines and priorities
  
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and client teams
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle

Continuous Improvement & Growth

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and delivery efficiency
• Contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing
• Continuously build domain expertise in financial services reporting and SaaS solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 4 - 8 years experience delivering software or SaaS implementations end-to-end
• Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
• SQL skills, relational data, structured data (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)
• APIs (REST) and system integrations
• Programming/scripting experience (e.g. Python)

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, asset management, or reporting platforms
• Exposure to reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS)
• Experience working with global clients or distributed teams
