Product Manager

About Us:

Kurtosys builds software used by global asset and wealth management firms to share investment information with their clients. Our platforms help them report on things like performance and risk in environments where data accuracy, security, and reliability really matter.

Product at Kurtosys is outcome-driven and ownership-led. We apply modern product practices — including AI-assisted workflows — to deliver at speed in complex, high-trust environments, without sacrificing quality or rigour.

We’re building a Product organisation that values clear thinking, accountability, and deep understanding of our customers’ needs. This role plays an important part in that journey.

The Role:

Product Managers at Kurtosys operate across multiple product domains, spanning foundational platform capabilities and client-facing reporting and digital solutions.

We work through outcome-led initiatives aligned to longer-term product themes. Within these initiatives, Product Managers take clear end-to-end ownership — shaping the problem, driving delivery, and ensuring measurable impact.

Roadmaps are shaped collaboratively, but accountability is explicit. You are trusted to prioritise effectively, make thoughtful trade-offs, and ensure the work you lead delivers real value for clients and the business.

This role is for someone who wants genuine ownership in a complex, regulated environment — and who is motivated to grow into a disciplined, well-rounded Product Manager as the product landscape continues to evolve alongside AI.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager at Kurtosys, you operate at the intersection of client need, platform capability, and commercial impact.

Lead outcome-driven initiatives:

  • Frame complex problems clearly and define outcome-focused initiatives aligned to product themes.
  • Translate strategic intent into coherent, well-scoped execution plans.
  • Define meaningful success measures and ensure impact is measured post-release.
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs to deliver value early while protecting long-term platform integrity.

Drive high-quality delivery:

  • Own and prioritise backlogs within your initiatives with clarity and discipline.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design from discovery through release — not via handovers.
  • Maintain high standards of scope definition, acceptance criteria, and delivery quality.
  • Balance speed with correctness in a regulated, data-intensive environment.

Shape direction, not just execute:

  • Contribute actively to roadmap discussions and product decisions.
  • Apply structured thinking to ambiguous problems.
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and balance incoming requests with scalable product thinking.

Ensure adoption and realised value:

  • Partner cross-functionally to enable coherent, well-supported launches.
  • Monitor usage, adoption, and feedback signals.
  • Iterate deliberately to maximise long-term value and scalability.

What success looks like:

Success in this role means operating with clarity, ownership, and sound judgement in a complex environment.

  • Approach problems at a system level, identifying scalable patterns rather than delivering isolated features.
  • Consistently focus on outcomes and impact, not just activity or volume of delivery.
  • Take shared ownership across domains and influence effectively without relying on formal authority.
  • Demonstrate intellectual honesty — using data, feedback, and insight to challenge assumptions and refine direction.
  • Navigate regulated financial environments with confidence, applying rigour and clear thinking to decision-making.
  • Contribute to a collaborative product culture, treating product development as a team sport.
  • Stay curious and forward-looking, actively engaging with how product management is evolving, including the role of AI in accelerating discovery and delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Product Management, with demonstrable ownership of complex digital products.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related technical or analytical field.
  • Proven experience leading client-facing digital platforms such as websites, portals, dashboards, or content-driven applications.
  • Experience operating in regulated or data-sensitive environments (financial services, fintech, SaaS, or similar), where accuracy, auditability, and reliability are critical.
  • A track record of translating client and commercial needs into scalable digital solutions rather than bespoke implementations.
  • Confidence making prioritisation and trade-off decisions across multiple stakeholders, balancing client requirements, platform sustainability, and delivery constraints.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability across interconnected digital and data-driven products.
  • Clear, structured communication skills, with the ability to align engineers, designers, and business stakeholders around direction and outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience working in agile delivery environments, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to drive clarity and execution.

Advantageous but not essential:

  • Experience within investment, asset, or wealth management environments.
  • Experience working with analytics, data pipelines, or querying data (SQL or similar).

Why Join Us:

This is an opportunity to build your product career in an environment that values substance over noise.

At Kurtosys, you will:

  • Work on products used by global asset and wealth managers operating in highly regulated markets.
  • Develop deep expertise in reporting, digital experience, and platform capabilities within financial services.
  • Contribute to a product organisation, where your thinking can influence not just what we build, but how we build.

If you are motivated by building scalable, high-trust products and growing as a disciplined Product Manager, we’d like to hear from you.
