THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to lead our QA efforts and drive excellence in software quality across our organization. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape our QA processes while working on exciting and challenging projects.

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO:

Lead the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex software projects.

Mentor and coach junior QA team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is built into every stage of the software development lifecycle.

Analyze and triage reported issues, working closely with configuration teams to identify root causes and drive timely resolutions.

Champion quality initiatives, advocating for best practices and driving continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies.

THE NON-NEGOTIABLES:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of designing and implementing QA strategies for complex projects.

Expertise in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Deep understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality-related issues.

NICE TO HAVES:

Experience with performance testing and profiling tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Certification in software testing or related field (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level Certification).

Experience with Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
