As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll ensure every component and assembly meets the standards required for safe, reliable spacecraft performance. By verifying parts, identifying defects early, and maintaining accurate inspection records, you enable engineering, production, and supply chain teams to make sound decisions and prevent issues from progressing. Your work directly supports the delivery of mission-ready hardware and reinforces trust in every system ICEYE builds.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and assembly-level inspections of mechanical parts and subsystems to ensure compliance with specifications • Record inspection results and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and traceability in ERP systems • Identify, document, and support resolution of non-conformances, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions • Maintain quality and safety standards across production, storage, and lab environments to support consistent manufacturing operations

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Experience in mechanical inspection, including dimensional and visual inspection of parts and assemblies • Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate inspection and quality records • Experience with non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions • Familiarity with ERP systems or similar tools for material tracking and traceability

Nice to haves:

• Experience developing or improving inspection procedures and checklists • Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and configuration control • Experience working in regulated or high-reliability environments such as aerospace or defense
