Why you will love this role:

In this role, you will drive the implementation of operational excellence practices within ICEYE’s Global Manufacturing Organization. You will ensure that processes and procedures are continuously improved and aligned with the company’s long-term vision and manufacturing strategy. You will lead and participate in improvement projects and initiatives, while supporting and guiding production organizations in applying best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency. In this role, you’ll be side by side with our production teams, taking a hands-on approach to making improvements happen

A key part of your responsibilities will be advancing the maturity and consistency of ICEYE’s Production Framework in our manufacturing sites. This includes embedding standardized processes, fostering effective performance measurement, and promoting continuous improvement practices across global operations. By cultivating a culture of ownership and improvement, you will help the organization achieve scalable, reliable, and high-quality production outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • Support and guide process owners in process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Advance the maturity of ICEYE’s Production Framework by embedding standardized processes and ensuring consistent practices at manufacturing site level
  • Coordinate Lean initiatives and facilitate the adoption of Lean practices at the site level.
  • Strengthen organizational awareness and competencies in areas such as quality, safety, and Lean through effective communication and training.
  • Act as project manager and a project team member for selected development and improvement projects within the Global Manufacturing Organization and related areas.
  • Support the organization in defining and improving KPIs that drive efficiency, quality, and process maturity.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating workshops, coaching teams, and enabling sustainable change

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with 3+ years of experience in operational excellence, lean and quality.
  • Proven ability to see the big picture and operate effectively in a rapidly changing, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading improvement initiatives and projects across manufacturing or operational environments with tangible results.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with implementing Lean methodologies.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, or other relevant management system standards.
  • Practical auditing experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001, and/or other relevant standards.
  • Customer-focused mindset combined with a hands-on mentality, with the ability to connect theory to practice.
  • Skilled at influencing and engaging stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High resilience and ability to tolerate ambiguity

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you had these attributes and skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent Lean expertise).
  • Auditor competence for ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
  • Ability to work in developing processes and practices, but also implementing these in the shop floor in cooperation different teams
