Why you will love this role:

As a Satellite Integration Technician, you will be building satellites that will go to space. You will directly support the assembly, testing, and integration of spacecraft hardware, ensuring high-quality and reliable performance of our satellites. Your work will be essential in enabling ICEYE’s continued growth and the expansion of our SAR constellation.

What you will do in this role:

  • You'll play a key role in the satellite assembly process; assembling mechanical subassemblies and integrate them into the full satellite.
  • Perform wire harness installation and integration.
  • Operate mechanical and electrical ground support equipment during integration and testing.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure correct assembly.
  • Record work performed accurately in the shop floor management system and maintain traceability.
  • Handle satellite hardware with care in cleanroom and ESD-protected environments.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration, or mechanical assembly.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail when working with precision hardware.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you had these attributes and skills:

  • Experience with laboratory and test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow controlled documentation and processes such as mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, schematics, and parts lists.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as PC-based systems and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or high-volume production environments.
  • A job that matters in a dynamic Earth Observation environment with a scale-up approach
