Why you will love this role:
As a Senior RF Production Specialist you will be responsible for the full production lifecycle of different RF systems throughout the assembly, integration and testing stages of the individual subsystems and the integrated satellite system.
You will work closely with other teams and members of the production environment to ensure the on-time delivery of our satellite systems. In short, the role responsibilities include guiding junior members, mitigating emergent production issues, leading testing campaigns and contributing to the overall success of the company.
What you will do in this role:
- Participate in satellite build activities for RF payload components starting from subsystem assembly all the way to final integration and testing
- Guide and mentor junior members of the team and support build activities across multiple satellites
- Mitigate any emergent issues on the production line
- Participate and lead testing campaigns for the RF payload of the satellite system
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from production members, Engineers and Mission Managers to ensure successful satellite deliveries
What you need to be successful in this role:
- +5 years hands-on experience working in a production environment for RF systems
- BSc / MSc in Electronics, RF, Aerospace or similar
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with a strong proficiency in English
- Knowledge and understanding of EMI/EMC, High speed signals and RF systems
- A positive attitude and inclination to learn new skills
- Work well in a multicultural environment
And some additions:
- +2 years of experience working in a high-value production environment
- Experience in PC and Linux environments as well as with tools such as Jira and Python
- Experience in the aerospace or military industry is highly appreciated
- Experience with Radar technology and antennas
- Knowledge in the design or use of radios, antennas and/or other systems
- Experience working with electronics, software and mechanical systems
