Why would you love this role?

The Stock Management Team Lead will own and develop ICEYE’s stock management function, ensuring a reliable flow of hardware and components to production across all sites and subsidiaries. This includes ownership of inspection on arrival, verification on arrival, secure storage management, controlled hardware distribution, and accurate inventory keeping. The role bridges inbound logistics, production, and quality to ensure production readiness at all times. In addition, the Team Lead will manage the complexities of coordinating stock and distribution across multiple ICEYE subsidiaries, aligning processes, standards, and reporting to maintain consistency and traceability globally. The Team Lead is expected to build, mentor, and grow the team while driving continuous improvement in processes and systems to support ICEYE’s increasing satellite production rate.

What will you do in this role?

  • Lead and manage the Stock Management Team.
  • Oversee incoming inspection of all production hardware.
  • Own secure storage management and access control.
  • Ensure accurate and traceable hardware distribution (“water spider” concept).
  • Support verification-on-arrival processes when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in stock workflows, ensuring alignment with production ramp-up.
  • Report regularly on stock status, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Netsuite, SAP, MS Dynamics, or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience in stock, supply chain, logistics, or production management roles.
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience, with ability to organize, coach, and grow a team.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and processes.
  • Experience working in high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics manufacturing, or similar).
  • Familiarity with inspection processes for high-value hardware.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with production, quality, and engineering stakeholders.
