Responsibilities
- Lead the product marketing strategy for missions products, aligned with product roadmaps, including defining value propositions and outlining product marketing deployment timelines. Ideally, you would have experience working in a fast paced environment, where flexibility and rapid decision making is needed.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, company objectives, and competitive landscape within the defense and intelligence sectors. Utilize this understanding and detailed product knowledge to refine our go-to-market strategy and messaging.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new and existing products. Lead and manage product launch campaigns ensuring alignment with product and marketing teams
- Lead the development of product marketing content and sales enablement material, and translate product capabilities into value messaging for non-technical buyers.
- Educate your marketing colleagues, sales and other departments on current product messaging
- Conduct competitor analysis (non-technical) and own the competitive positioning of the ICEYE missions products
- Collaborate closely with product and sales teams to gather customer feedback and continuously refine product messaging.
- Gather data and insights from cross-functional teams, market research, customers, and business partners. Synthesize this information to support effective decision-making across the entire customer lifecycle.
- Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team to ensure alignment of the overall missions marketing campaigns
- Negotiate and manage budgets to execute our product marketing vision at scale
- Contribute to write up and document case studies and situation reports
Requirements
- 6-10 years of relevant product marketing experience in defense, related B2B, or B2G environments
- Previous knowledge/understanding of Earth observation and/or synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
- Experience in marketing to different audience types and tailoring value propositions and related messaging for diverse audiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as you will often be writing Value Propositions
- Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in Business English
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and influence across the teams - strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
- Flexible, positive attitude with entrepreneurial hands-on drive
