What do you think we should do?

ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

What are we looking for?

To support the company’s growth, we seek an AIT R&D Engineer to join our global Missions Department. You will report to the AIT R&D Team Lead.

What you will do:

  • System- and subsystem-level functional tests, verification, and troubleshooting
  • Electrical Boards Verifications
  • Standardisation and adjustment of procedures for AIT
  • Subsystem and system-level hardware assembly
  • Test Plan Development
  • Test set up an arrangement
  • Process documentation
  • Communication with projects stakeholders from different engineering teams

Must have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering or similar) equivalent or higher, plus relevant experience of 3+ years
  • Excellent Python and Linux knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and embedded systems
  • Practical experience preferred (soldering, cable making, PCB assembly/modifications)
  • Studies in space technology are a plus
  • Knowledge of Linux systems
  • Experience in electrical boards testing
  • Experience in lab equipment usage

Preferred to have:

  • Space environment knowledge is a plus
