Principal Partner Implementation Manager
Boston, MA, USA · Remote
USD 127,400-236,600 / year + Equity
Insurance touches people during some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Hi Marley is on a mission to transform how the P&C industry communicates, making those moments faster, easier, and more empathetic for carriers and the customers they serve. We build AI-powered software that keeps everyone in the claims conversation informed and connected. If you believe insurance can combine operational excellence and automation with a human touch, we’d love to meet you.
As a Principal Partner Implementation Manager at Hi Marley, you will own the strategy and execution behind our most complex, highest-impact partner implementations — setting the standard for how we onboard partners onto Hi Marley’s collaboration platform and connect key players across the insurance ecosystem. You will operate as a strategic advisor to partner executives and internal leadership alike, shaping implementation methodology, mentoring other Implementation Managers, and translating patterns across partnerships into product and process improvements that scale. This is a role for someone who has mastered the craft of complex, multi-stakeholder implementations and is ready to help define how the function operates. Teamwork and shared enthusiasm is a core part of our culture, which is why this role involves joining us in the Boston Office for 2-3 days each week.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end-to-end delivery of our most strategic and complex partner implementations, acting as the senior project leader from kickoff through Customer One go-live and beyond
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to partner executives and senior internal stakeholders, shaping how partnerships are structured, sequenced, and scaled
- Define and evolve the implementation methodology, playbooks, and best practices used across the Implementation team, raising the bar for consistency and quality
- Lead discovery and solution design for the highest-complexity partner engagements, architecting workflows, events, and messaging experiences that set precedent for future implementations
- Identify, articulate, and quantify the value delivered to partners, carriers, and policyholders, and use those insights to inform partner strategy and internal prioritization
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate cross-partner patterns and recurring friction points into roadmap input and platform improvements
- Own the escalation path for at-risk or high-visibility implementations, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous or high-pressure situations
- Represent Hi Marley externally as a subject-matter expert in partner and executive-level conversations and strategic reviews
- Drive initiatives that scale the implementation function itself — tooling, process, and team capability — to support Hi Marley’s growth
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in implementation management, professional services, partner operations, or a related function in SaaS or insurance, including experience leading enterprise-scale or highly complex engagements
- Executive presence and a track record of building trusted advisor relationships with senior partner and internal stakeholders
- Deep understanding of insurance workflows, claims processes, and ecosystem partnerships, with the judgment to navigate ambiguity across diverse partner environments
- Proven ability to design and evolve implementation methodology and playbooks that scale across a growing team
- Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-complexity, high-visibility implementations simultaneously
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving experiences for policyholders, adjusters, and partners
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, articulate, and quantify business value at a strategic level
- A genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, paired with the judgment to apply them thoughtfully and responsibly
