As a Business Data Analyst, your primary responsibility is to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve our business trajectory. You will work closely with various teams to collect, analyze, and report on business data, ultimately supporting our organization in achieving its goals.

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze business data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and software systems, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

Operational Reporting: Develop and maintain operational reports tailored for sales, success, and leadership teams, providing them with real-time data insights to support their decision-making.

Analytical Dashboards: Create interactive and informative analytical dashboards using structured datasets, enabling teams to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.

Customer Trend Analysis: Identify, analyze, and interpret customer trends to help refine our product offerings and marketing strategies, ensuring we meet customer needs effectively.

Data Technology Support: Collaborate with our technical teams to support data technology projects, including data migrations, and ensure alignment with our long-term Business Intelligence (BI) data strategy.

Product Strategy Insights: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Success, and other departments to gather market and customer trends, providing valuable insights that inform our product roadmap.

Domain Understanding: Possess a strong understanding of our industry, business processes, and customer behavior.

Education and Experience: Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in business data analysis, reporting, and data visualization, preferably within the tech or related sectors.

Data Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in working with structured data sets and tools for analysis. Experience with Salesforce, Cumul, and PowerBI is a plus.

Presentation Skills: Be capable of presenting complex solutions and insights effectively to leadership and C-level executives.

Financial Acumen: Ability to read and interpret financial reports to extract meaningful insights

Entrepreneurial Mindset: Display a proactive approach, always seeking opportunities to understand and explain data-driven solutions.

Strong EQ: Use emotional intelligence to understand and prioritize business requirements and advocate for data-driven decision-making.
