Passion for solving hard problems at scale
Thorough knowledge of CS fundamentals: Data structures, functional and object-oriented programming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of web concepts like client-server architecture, network, etc.
Understanding of Git.
Ability and attitude to learning things on your own.
Curious about how things work internally, always up for tinkering.
Have other hobbies apart from programming which you’re passionate about.
BE / B Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Telecommunication.
What will you do in this role
Work with the rest of the team in developing product features that get delivered to ~1B monthly active users.
Write design specifications, figure out tests, deployment, and scaling plans.
Write clean, maintainable code with proper test coverage and review other team members’ code.
Tune existing systems for performance and handling failure.
Display strong work ethics. Be a team player.
Spend as much time learning as possible. The product development field is vast; you'll need to put a lot of effort into understanding things.
Projects you may work on
Migrate services to Kubernetes.
Scale Chatbot engine to serve millions of users to respond within 100 ms.
Build WYSIWYG Editor for Help Center.
Build solutions that enable branding and customization of Help Centers
Build a platform that enable users to self serve on a customer service platform
Build mobile and web SDKs that run on a billion devices.
Build native mobile apps using the latest technologies like Kotlin and Swift.
Build integrations with Unreal Engine, Unity, React Native, Facebook, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.
Build RESTful APIs that enable integration with any external system.
Build the data platform that processes 2 million events per minute.
Build AI solutions to help customers optimize their business.
Optimize and scale data stores to serve sub 100 ms.
Improve resiliency libraries that protect core infrastructure.
