Sales & Business Development
United Kingdom · Remote
As a freelance Sales Manager, you will help exnaton open and grow in the UK on a flexible, independent basis. Drawing on your existing network and experience in the energy sector, you will support us in the following areas:
Identifying and reaching out to potential customers in your target market, introducing them to exnaton's product,
Owning key parts of the sales cycle, from initial outreach through to deal closure, depending on the scope agreed together,
Leveraging your existing relationships and market knowledge to open doors and accelerate conversations;,
Representing exnaton in an authentic, credible way to prospective customers and partners in your market,
Sharing market insights and feedback with our core Sales and Product teams,
Collaborating remotely with our Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align on messaging, pricing, and proposals.
This is an independent contractor / freelance engagement, not a permanent employee position. This role is a good fit for an experienced energy-sales professional who wants to represent exnaton in the United Kingdom on a flexible basis.
We are looking for someone who can support us one day per week.
We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience of 5+ years in B2B sales or business development within the energy industry — this is a hard requirement,
Is open to a base salary in combination with variable compensation,
Has an established network and credibility in the UK,
Is comfortable working independently and managing their own time and priorities,
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills,
Is fluent in English,
Has an entrepreneurial mindset and is comfortable representing a company in its growth trajectory.
At exnaton, you'll be part of a small and driven team doing genuinely important work - building the technology that's helping reshape how energy is produced and consumed. Here's what comes with the role:
A competitive salary and equity package,
Flexible working hours and a remote-first way of working, as we support those being based in different locations,
A virtual office that actually works - tools and rituals designed for meaningful collaboration across different locations,
Perks that support the whole you, from a sports membership or Headspace subscription to a dedicated Mental Health Day, and a holiday that grows with your tenure,
Invest in your growth: a personal learning budget and bi-weekly learning focus time, protected in your calendar,
Two team retreats a year, when we come together in person to work and have fun,
Work that matters - exciting technology, a mission you can get behind, and teammates who genuinely care about both.
