YOUR ROLE
As a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate in Medicinal Chemistry at Enveda, you will be a hands-on synthetic chemist contributing to our natural-product-inspired drug discovery pipeline. Working closely with medicinal chemists and cross-functional teams, you will independently execute multi-step synthesis, contribute to SAR campaigns, and help advance novel molecules toward clinical candidacy in a fast-moving, science-first environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Independently design and execute multi-step synthesis of novel chemical entities; characterise products using NMR, LCMS, and other standard analytical techniques

Contribute to SAR analysis by interpreting biological and DMPK data and proposing new analogues in collaboration with medicinal chemists

Participate actively in cross-functional team discussions, contributing creative ideas to advance research projects

Maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks and compound records in compliance with Enveda's IP and data management standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

M.S. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry; 3-7 years of experience for SRA, 0-2 years for RA in a corporate R&D setting

Strong practical skills in multi-step synthetic organic chemistry, including air/moisture-sensitive chemistry (required for SRA; advantageous for RA)

Familiarity with standard analytical techniques (NMR, LCMS, HPLC) and ability to work safely and productively in a chemistry lab

Excellent team player with strong written and oral communication skills and knowledge of state-of-the-art synthetic chemistry
