Your Role in Our Mission:
At Enveda, every role drives impact. As a Vivarium In-Charge, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering hope to patients everywhere. Your expertise in vivarium operations will be critical in accelerating our mission to maintain high standards in animal husbandry and compliance because every breakthrough starts with bold questions and brave actions.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage daily operations across multiple vivariums, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of husbandry, sanitation, and biosecurity.
- Plan and manage animal procurement, govern vendors, and maintain inventory aligned to study demand.
- Ensure compliance with CCSEA/IAEC and AAALAC requirements, keeping facilities inspection-ready.
- Lead capacity planning and risk management to optimize space, staffing, and procurement strategies.
- Supervise and lead a team of vivarium staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
We’re Looking For:
- BVSc with 3–5 years or MVSc with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in rodent vivarium operations.
- Proven experience in veterinary oversight and clinical care for laboratory animals.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team supervision and operational management.
