Enveda is looking for a Director, Toxicology to join our team in Remotely!
The contribution you will make:
As a Director you will leverage your experience in Toxicology to successfully bring drugs from the bench to the clinic. You will be part of a diverse team, reporting to the Sr. Director/Head ofToxicology, in contributing to our mission using an advanced drug discovery platform. The role will require you to use your knowledge of preclinical development, and FDA Guidance to Industry and ICH Regulatory Guidelines in support of clinical development.
As Director,Toxicology in the Non-Clinical Drug Safety group, you will be part of the Early Development Team.

You get to collaborate on:

  • IND-enabling activities including preclinical safety pharmacology and toxicology
  • Provide toxicology expertise to the portfolio
  • Design and implement development stage specific non-clinical programs
  • Provide sound guidance to teams on dose selection and safety assessments for early clinical studies

Who will thrive in this role?

  • PhD, or similar advanced degree with DABT
  • 10+ years developing and executing non-clinical strategies and leading toxicology programs in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated success in IND submissions.
  • Good understanding of the FDA and ICH Regulatory Guidelines in Toxicology
  • Demonstrated success managing CROs for non-clinical studies in Safety Pharmacology and Toxicology, conducted in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
  • Conduct of phase-appropriate Toxicology studies
  • Experience in Reprotox and Subchronic/Chronic studies a plus
  • Experience in dermatology related toxicology studies
  • Interpret and summarize toxicology findings and authoring/review of Module 2 summaries (Safety Pharmacology and 2.6.6/2.6.7 Tox) and nonclinical overview (NCO) for INDs and Regulatory submissions.
  • Ability to lead and manage simultaneous IND-enabling Programs with quality and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate in a cross-functional Development Team
  • Ability to work well in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional communication, both verbal and written
