Enveda is looking for a Sr. Director, Translational Medicine to join our team!
The contribution you will make:
As Sr. Director of Translational Medicine you will leverage your experience in biomarkers, clinical research, and drug development to successfully bring drugs from the bench to the clinic. You will be part of a diverse team reporting to the VP of Early Drug Development contributing to our mission using advanced drug discovery by developing and implementing the biomarker and precision medicine strategies for all clinical programs. The role will require you to use your knowledge of laboratory and translational medicine, assay development, and pathophysiology.
As a member of the Clinical team, you will report to the SVP, Clinical Development.
You get to collaborate on:
- Collaborate across functions to identify new biomarkers for programs based upon mechanism of action as well as biomarkers that translate from preclinical to clinical studies
- Develop the biomarker and precision medicine strategy for each program in collaboration with a cross functional team including clinical development, clinical operations, discovery biology, and data science
- Develop and validate assays internally or with CROs as needed
- Monitor critical assay performance in Enveda’s clinical trials
Who will thrive in this role?
- MD, PhD, DO, PharmD or similar advanced degree
- 10+ years developing and implementing biomarker strategies for clinical development with a variety of analytes
- Experience in multiple therapeutic areas preferred
- Exceptional communication, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated success managing CROs for bioanalytical assay development
- Knowledge of GLP and CLIA
