Enveda is looking for a Research Associate, High Throughput Screening to join our team in Boulder, CO.!
The contribution you will make:
As the Research Associate, High Throughput Screening you will join our highly interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and data scientists with expertise in drug discovery and high throughput screening . You will help drive the expansion and advancement of Enveda’s drug discovery platform. You will work closely with our chemistry, biology and natural products teams to identify new medicines and improve human health.
As a member of the Platform HTS team, you will report to the Director, High Throughput Screening.
You get to collaborate on:
- Designing, planning, and executing experiments on our highly automated screening platform
- Multiple types of biochemical, molecular and cell based assays for high throughput screening
- Culture of primary and immortalized mammalian cell types
- Keeping organized, up to date and detailed records of laboratory experiments
- Developing, writing and updating lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Cross functional communication of project data to peers and leadership
Who will thrive in this role?
- Masters or Bachelors degree with 2+ years of laboratory experience in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics or biochemistry related areas
- Experience with mammalian cell culture, plate readers, or microscopy
- Experience with 96, 384 or 1536 well assays
- Experience with automated plate washers, dispensers, or other automated lab systems
- Dedicated individual with a scientific curiosity who is attentive to detail, maintains rigorous documentation of work and experimentation, is interested in becoming an expert in laboratory automation
- Ability to learn quantitative and statistical analysis using common software tools (GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Excel, or TIBCO Spotfire).
- Strong cross functional collaborator and communicator
