Title: Incentive Program Specialist

The Incentive Program Specialist serves as a key member of our Corporate Finance team. This role will act as a lead who provides enhanced subject matter expertise in cap table management and equity incentive related programs. This includes equity plan design, execution, education, governance, compliance, and communication for all company-wide equity programs.

The Incentive Program Specialist will be the main point of contact responsible for administering, enhancing, and managing risk for various equity programs focused on rewarding and retaining many of our key employees, including the creation and management of timelines, stakeholders, and controls. This is a hybrid position based in our Northern Virginia headquarters. We offer up to 2 days per week remote once up to speed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain equity administration platform and update capitalization tables to reflect changes in ownership, as well as financing events with precision and confidentiality
  • Monitor, document, and distribute Board resolutions to ensure compliance with corporate governance and legal requirements
  • Draft, distribute, and manage equity agreements using equity admin platform, ensuring timely execution and accurate stakeholder records
  • Draft and distribute funding notices to shareholders to ensure timely funding of equity contributions to meet needs of growing business
  • Support quarterly valuations reporting in collaboration with finance, accounting and legal teams, supporting compliance and shareholder requirements
  • Calculate and validate equity compensation payouts for employees and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with plan terms and company policies
  • Support coordination of other incentive compensation programs as assigned. May include short term incentive programs, such as commissions and bonus calculations and payments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams driving projects/issues to closure
  • Strong analytical skills and general intellectual horsepower with keen ability to understand complex mechanics
  • Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers
  • Strong attention to detail

Experience/Education

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years of professional experience performing executive compensation analysis or stock plan administration
  • Experience managing and executing equity or stock programs, including grant cycles, vesting, and purchases
  • Experience using Excel formulas, such as xlookup or vlookup, Excel pivots, and data analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and market practices
  • Ability to engage with personnel at all levels, up to board level.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
US Salary Range
$95,000$115,000 USD
