Title: Procurement Business Analyst
The Procurement Business Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of integrating new vendors and suppliers into company systems and operations as well as tracking all vendor agreements and the process around vendor management. This position reports to the Director, Procurement & Logistics and can only be based in our Herndon, VA HQ. This is a hybrid role where working 2-3 days in the office is required after initial onboarding.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create applicable agreements and send to vendor’s contact once new vendor is identified by EdgeConneX stakeholder.
- Upload and manage vendor onboarding documents (MSA/VSA, NDA, Insurance) in vendor tracking system.
- Set up new vendors in accounting ERP, NetSuite, with appropriate details.
- Track insurance certificates and review variances with Lockton and Risk Management obtain necessary approvals or waivers, etc.
- Assist in the management of a database of active Master and Vendor Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and insurance certificates. Track these items for expiration and updating as needed.
- Manage active Master and Vendor Service Agreements and act as a liaison with legal team, Ops Team and vendors to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Escalate to manager any bottle necks or delays in receiving necessary data.
- Participate in thorough onboarding activities, including project and/or third-party risk assessment, and provide quality assurance of all information and documentation, as applicable to the third-party product/service to be provided.
- Prepare and circulate documents for electronic and wet ink signatures; collect, circulate, and file signed documents.
- Create and provide monthly onboarding statistics such as number of new vendors onboarded, number of COIs overdue, received and processed, number of vendors currently in progress awaiting onboarding, expired MSAs, MSAs in progress, etc.
- Monthly manager meetings to review Vendor Onboarding reports and any delays in obtaining data needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- This individual must be an organized individual capable of multi-tasking and will be required to manage multiple functions and interact with personnel at all levels of management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Strong attention to details and ability to work independently.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities
- Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers
- Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done’

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Experience/Education
- 2+ years of collective experience working as an Analyst in Accounting, Contract Management, Legal or Finance. Internship or co-op experience can be included
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Track record of successfully applying Accounting, Contracts and/or Finance concepts and principals
- Candidates possessing experience using NetSuite or similar ERP solution are highly encouraged to apply
- Any experience in the Data Center industry, Construction or Real Estate environments would make a candidate stand out
