Title: Strategic Accounts Manager
The Strategic Accounts Manager will have a regional responsibility for driving growth from an assigned group of enterprise customers by setting effective strategy, establishing key relationships and coordinating team resources to serve the customer. Growth will come from small and large deployments around the region. This position reports to the Director of Business Development supporting the APAC region. It will also interact heavily with our Data Center Operations leadership team, as well as with our local Solutions Architect, Finance, and Legal teams. This position is based in Kino Tower/Cikarang and is required to be in the office at least 4 days when not traveling.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plan for developing business from assigned customers regionally.
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers that allow deep understanding of customer decision processes, forward thinking in market development and investments and surfaces new business opportunities.
- Develop winning strategies on key opportunities that highlight differential advantages for EdgeConneX.
- Communicate customer priorities and strategies with ECX executive team and others.
- Ensure documentation is in order, as well as commitments are met
- Coordinate team to maintain business relationship with existing and prospecting customers and accounts to ensure strong ties to ECX, as well as partner with customers in a professional approach
- Work with key internal teams, engineering/real estate/finance/program management to assure the success of customer projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communications in English and Bahasa (bilingual), both written and verbal, to support ability in leading small teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure.
- Strong analytical and finance skills.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done.’
- Ability to present effectively with senior leadership
- Strong attention to detail.
Experience/Education
- 5+ years of experience in developing strategic partnerships with enterprise customer in tech services
- 2+ years of experience in data center industry (need to know what is being sold)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Degree
- Track Record of managing complex accounts to ensure customer success.
- Experience managing senior client and partner relationships in large, multi-disciplinary environments.
- Track record of achievements and demonstrated ability to develop new account relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work in matrixed environment to drive opportunities.
- Motivational and relationship-focused account management style.
- Candidates who possess experience in Construction and/or Real Estate environments on top of data center experience are highly encouraged to apply.
