Title: Sr. Security Design and Integration Manager EMEA
The Sr. Security Design and Integration Manager EMEA will head our efforts in securing our Data Centers throughout the EMEA region. They have responsibility of overseeing security design, integration, implementation and programming. This role is also responsible for the integration of EdgeConneX security and customer security efforts, ensuring compliance to all applicable standards. This position is customer facing and must uphold the ideals of EdgeConneX excellence. While this position does not have any internal direct reports, it does require someone with strong leadership experience to oversee as many as 50 contractors at any given time, while engaging our vendors that support our physical security efforts in a multitude of way. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Security Design and Integration, Physical Security and can be based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands or Dublin, Ireland office with flexibility to a hybrid set-up. This position does require up to 50% travel throughout the EMEA region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Procurement and oversight of external physical security designers, integrators, and programmers.
- Liaison with customer security teams and local data center construction teams.
- Define and support the rollout, implementation, and adherence to EdgeConneX physical and operational security standards.
- Oversight of Physical Security Systems, such as S2, Lenel, EquiVision and Genetec systems.
- Audit security contractors.
- Adjust baseline standards to local conditions and to local authorities holding jurisdiction.
- Partner with Security Operations teams to recruit, select, and onboard systems designers, security integrators, and security programmers.
- Collaborate with Security Operations on site turnover.
- Work with the global EdgeConneX security team to improve and develop physical security standards and solutions.
- Travel to data center sites as needed to support both design and ultimate commissioning

Experience/Education
- 3+ years of experience managing large scale security design and installation projects within EMEA region
- Direct physical security design experience in the Data Center industry, Telecommunications, IT, or similar critical infrastructure industry.
- Project leadership experience in installing, configuring, and overall implementation of S2, Lenel, and/or Genetec platforms
- Track record of supporting EN50600 standards, PCI/DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001 certifications, as well as AUTOCAD and associated drawing programs.
- Working knowledge of jurisdictional security requirements across EMEA.
- Experience in advising companies on GDPR regulation within the EMEA region.
- Interest in cyber security.

Travel
Once again, we expect around 50% regional and global travel for this position, including travel on short notice. The travel will depend on the cadence of parallel projects, as well as their locations and the new hire's location, whether it be Amsterdam or Dublin.
