Title: Human Resources Coordinator

As Human Resources Coordinator at EdgeConneX, you will assist with overall coordination of tasks and activities for the Human Resources team, supporting all areas of HR, including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, audits, Engagement, HR Compliance, and more, for a fast-growing global organization. You will be a key member of a team that provides world class employee experience to our employees around the globe. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll & Benefits and is based in our Herndon, VA HQ. After initial onboarding, this position is flexible to a hybrid structure, where the expectation is to be in the office at least 3 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide world class employee experience to the team members of EdgeConneX around the globe.
  • Support global payroll processing, global employee benefits coordination (including coordination of Open Enrollment activities), HRIS data entry, and employee leave coordination.
  • Respond to employee and interdepartmental requests and inquiries in a prompt and helpful manner, escalating as needed.
  • Provide overall support to the entire Human Resources team, enabling smooth and efficient operations and an exceptional employee experience in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Support Talent Acquisition, and assist with maintenance of electronic personnel records, internal and external audits (401k, ISO, etc.), employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, and coordination of related activities.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports and data analysis, as assigned, and efficiently use Greenhouse, Rippling, and other HR systems on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with international HR team.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Unparalleled attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally with those in IT, Accounting, and Compliance
  • High degree of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive data.
  • Demonstrated motivation to continuous learning and development
  • A team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Basic understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel

Education/Experience:

  • 1+ years’ experience in the human resources field and a four-year degree, or 5 years of professional experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Human Resources certifications such as PHR and SHRM-CP are also accepted in lieu of a Human Resources focused degree.
  • Candidates who possess skills or familiarity with data analytics are highly encouraged to apply.
US Salary Range
$55,000$60,000 USD
