The Intern will assist with daily operations in Procurement. This position reports to the Associate Manager, Procurement Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations in the Procurement Department, ensuring coordination with departments and vendors to submit purchase orders in the ERP system with accuracy and attention to quote details.
- Support Procurement Analysts in managing purchase order administration, budget tracking, and cashflow tracking.
- Aid in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Conduct maintenance and clean-up of purchase orders to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
- Shadow team in weekly meetings to gain perspective of department roles and responsibilities.

Experience/Education
- Actively enrolled working towards Bachelor’s degree (Junior or Senior credit status)
- Majors: Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Construction Management, Project Management, International Business, Operations Management, or Procurement and Contract Management
