About the role
We’re looking for a Merchant and Catalog Product Manager to own the onboarding and operational success of our merchant ecosystem and catalog. This is a unique opportunity to shape how brands and products are represented on Daydream, ensuring that our catalog is accurate, observable, and primed to deliver an exceptional AI-driven shopping experience.

You’ll partner closely with engineering, partnerships, search, and merchant teams to create predictable processes, manage catalog data, and drive operational excellence. Your work will directly impact how our users discover and engage with brands, helping Daydream deliver a seamless, personalized shopping experience.

What you will do

  • Own merchant onboarding operations: ensure execution is predictable, smooth, and timely.

  • Develop and maintain processes to track and manage the full lifecycle of a merchant and product onboarding status.

  • Manage catalog data: model products, categories, and product attributes thoughtfully to meet business and technical needs.

  • Define and maintain data schemas, normalize product data, and support enrichment efforts.

  • Drive quality and completeness of catalog data including product imagery, videos, descriptions, and attributes to power best-in-class product discovery and PDP experiences.

  • Own strategy for extending the catalog beyond core product data such as trends, celebrities, body types, and other layers of expertise for our agent, and drive additional data acquisition efforts.

  • Collaborate with search and shopper teams to ensure data supports machine learning models, search functionality and shopper decisions.

  • Partner with merchants to ensure their success on Daydream: onboarding, data collection, and platform visibility.

  • Generate insights from merchant data to improve onboarding, catalog quality, and overall experience.

  • Balance operational rigor with creative, “scrappy” problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.

  • Serve as a cross-functional connector, managing stakeholders across partnerships, engineering, and merchant teams.

Who you are

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in operational and data excellence.

  • Strong understanding of catalog/data management, ideally in retail or fashion.

  • Experience modeling data and working with complex schemas.

  • Comfortable collaborating with engineering and machine learning teams to shape data flows and product representation.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.

  • Strategic thinker with attention to operational detail.

  • Passion for fashion, retail, or marketplace ecosystems is a plus.
