Comp: $175K-$250K + bonus + meaningful equity

The Role

We’re looking for a strong Python developer to build and debug production systems powered by LLMs.

You’ll write Python code that interacts directly with our API, build tools and services on top of it, and help improve reliability and developer experience across real customer workloads.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Build Python services, tools, and workflows powered by LLM APIs
• Develop scripts and applications that interact with Concentrate’s unified LLM API
• Integrate AI functionality into real production environments
• Debug issues across APIs, models, async systems, and infrastructure
• Write Python code to test system reliability, performance, and edge cases
• Investigate failures, reproduce bugs, and isolate root causes
• Build internal tools to improve reliability, visibility, and developer experience
• Work directly with LLM APIs including prompting, tool use, structured outputs, and evals
• Help improve API design, SDKs, and system defaults

What We’re Looking for

• Strong Python skills and experience building real systems
• Experience working with APIs, backend systems, or automation scripts
• Comfortable debugging distributed or async systems
• Experience building tools, scripts, side projects, or backend services
• Ability to quickly understand and debug unfamiliar systems
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments
• Clear written communication and documentation skills
• Fluent English required

Bonus

• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, open-source models)
• Async Python (asyncio, FastAPI, aiohttp, etc.)
• Working with logs, observability, or debugging production systems
• TypeScript or frontend experience
• Experience building developer tools or infrastructure
